Barbara Krieger

Barbara graduated high school in 1963 and after earning her teaching degree she taught school in Balgonie, Balcarres and Fort Qu’Appelle. She was adored by her students.

Barb married the love of her life Clifford Krieger July 01, 1966 and started their lives together in Regina SK, eventually buying a farm near Balcarres in 1975. They lived on the farm until 2005 when they purchased their current home at Katepwa. The farm life never left her however, as she continued to help her son and daughter right through the 2020 harvest.

She loved living in the valley and made many memories and loving friendships.

She is survived by the love of her life Clifford Krieger. Barb was a devoted and loving mother to her daughter Laura (Terry) Derkach and their children Kelton, Aimee and Sage, and her son Stephen and his children Austin and Londyn.

Granny loved and adored her grandchildren and could be found watching them play hockey, dance and school events. Granny’s grandchildren were the love of her life and her pride and joy. Barb passed away peacefully with her family by her side.
