Pamela was born on December 29, 1956 in Waterbury and was the daughter of the late Andre O. and
Peggy D. (Wiggins) Normandin. She was a graduate of John F. Kennedy High School in Waterbury and worked in quality control at Wheeler Electronics before dedicating her life to raising her children.
Pam was a very classy lady who also loved a good cliché. She held a firm belief that all people should strive to be content in life. Pamela took great pride in her home which was her sanctuary. It was always kept very tidy and adorned with beautiful house plants. She was a most gracious host of holiday dinners, she made delicious crepes, and occasionally you could smell the beautiful aroma of her freshly baked banana bread. She loved the beach, especially when she was strolling on it with her daughter Sarah. Her three children were her whole world and the love she had for them was immeasurable.
Pamela is survived by her children, Jesse Roberts and his wife Jamesia Bingham-Roberts of Torrington, Sarah Roberts of Waterbury, and Stephen P. Roberts and his wife Laura of Clifton Park, NY. She was also grandma to Eric, Julia, Stephen, Ian, and Addison. Pamela is also survived by her siblings, Jeffrey Normandin of Waterbury, Valerie Conway of Texas and Lisa Krewson of Waterbury, and her many beloved nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her two sisters, Anne Marie Normandin and Andrea Jean Normandin.
Calling hours will be on Tuesday, August 16th from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 690 Woodtick Road, Wolcott. Burial for Pamela will be private.
