Robert E. "Bob" Carey, was born in Ypsilanti, Michigan, the third of eight children. Bob was a longtime resident of Winter Park, Florida. He is a veteran having served in the Army and the National Guard.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Violet Carey of Collins, Ohio. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Frank Carey of Oak Hill, Florida and James Carey of Douglasville, GA.
He is survived by two sisters and three brothers; sisters, Doris (Carey) Wilson and her husband, Fred, of Ohio and Norma Jean (Carey) Goodson of Florida, and brothers, Richard Carey and his wife, Nancy, of Michigan, Glen Carey and his wife, Lorna, of Ohio, and Donald Carey and his wife, Fru, of Alabama.
He is also survived by four aunts, all of Ohio, Barbara (Carey) Stentz, Ruth (Carey) Nichols, Phyllis (Carey) Brown and Margaret (Carey) Graves.
Bob also has many nieces and nephews.
