Patrick Edward Perrott, age 84, passed away on Monday, September 7, 2015. He was born March 12, 1931 in Canton, Ohio to Edward Joseph and Mary (Duell) Perrott. Pat graduated from Sparrows Point High School, Sparrows Point, MD, where he met his wife of 65 years, Marjorie (Margie). Pat and family moved to Winter Park in 1957, when Pat transferred from the Martin Company, Baltimore, to the new Martin Company, Orlando facility. A true entrepreneur, Pat left the Martin Company, in 1960, to form his own manufacturer representative firm, Perrott Associates, Inc. which celebrated over 30 years in business. Additionally, during those and subsequent years, Pat was either founder or co-founder, owner or co-owner, or director of multiple diversified companies to include Chip Supply, PelCor, MicroDevices, National Bank of Commerce, Highlands Helicopters, Falcon Helicopters, Spruce Creek Aviation, and in the early 1990’s Park Plaza Gardens in Winter Park. Pat’s passion was aviation. An avid pilot of both helicopters and fixed wing aircraft, Pat was thrilled to be around aircraft and those who flew them. His last business venture was owning and operating the FBO at Spruce Creek Airport in Port Orange, FL. Pat was an enthusiastic amateur radio operator since his early teens. Additionally, Pat could repair almost anything, especially electronic devices. Pat had served as a Master Sergeant (Avionics) in the Air National Guard in Baltimore from 1949 to 1957. He enjoyed golf, snow skiing, and his Model A’s. Pat was a loving and devoted family man and friend. He was a sentimental man, extremely generous and caring for his family. He created many memories for everyone in the phenomenal family gatherings throughout the years, and the vacations and cruises he sponsored with all the children, grandchildren and his large circle of friends. The lakeside parties and pontoon boat trips were frequent affairs. Whether a wedding or just lunch at the marina, he would dance for hours with all his daughters until they were exhausted. Pat was a member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, Winter Park, FL. He had served in the Prison Ministry as well as the Knights of Columbus. Pat was a generous supporter to all causes and interests. He gave freely and abundantly to those in need, and never asked for anything in return. Pat was a beloved husband, father, grandfather,great-grandfather and brother. Pat is survived by his wife, Marjorie (Wiley) Perrott, sons Edward, James and Sean and daughters Patricia, Susan, Theresa, Deborah and Lisa, 20 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, brothers Ronald and David and sister Sheila. He was preceded in death by his infant son Patrick, Jr., brothers Thomas and Daniel, and sister, Nancy. Visitation is at Baldwin - Fairchild Funeral Home, Ivanhoe Chapel, 301 NE Ivanhoe Blvd, Orlando, FL on Friday, September 11, 2015 from 6-8PM. Funeral service with eulogy celebration and reception immediately following will be at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church Chapel, 526 N Park Ave., Winter Park FL on Saturday, September 12, 2015, at 10:00AM. The family is requesting contributions be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (www.stjude.org) in lieu of flowers dedicated in the name of Patrick Perrott
