Born June 21, 1927 in Carthage, NC to Benjamin Franklin
Whitlock, Sr. and Katie Pearl Whitlock.
Jane worked the longest as a Mom. She was an Editor for the General Accounting Office in Washington, D.C. Jane and her husband Jim traveled to 49 states and Europe. They loved the mountains and snow skiing. After retiring, Jane and Jim became expert vegetable gardeners. Jane loved to sing in the choir. Jane and Jim were active Elon University Alumni for 60 plus years. Jane truly loved fried shrimp; but not coconut shrimp.
Jane was preceded in death by her son James “Jimp” Marvin
Langston III and her husband of 64 years James “Jim”
Marvin Langston Jr.
Jane is survived by her daughter Linda "Chip" Davies Tubbs,
son-in-law Richard Tubbs and granddaughter Heather Davies
Deyrieux.
Jane will be buried in North Carolina with her family, when it is
safe for everyone to travel.
