Gerald D. Orendorf, age 79, of Winter Park, Florida, passed away peacefully August 6, 2015. Born in Greenwood, Delaware, he was the son of Dwight and Rachel Orendorf. Gerald served his country in the U.S. Coast Guard and settled in Central Florida with his wife Janice in 1965. Gerald and Janice started the Marlin Manufacturing co., Inc. in 1965 and the company is run today by their daughter and son. He was a dedicated husband and father. An avid outdoorsman, Gerald enjoyed deep sea fishing and camping with his family. Gerald is survived by his loving family, wife; Janice, his children; Jeffrey and Kathy, Tracy and Robert Pigman, Jason and Christy and Wendy and Scott Love; and his grandchildren; Taylor Pigman, Gemma and Charlotte Love and Tobin Orendorf. He is also survived by many dear friends. Friends are invited to attend Gerald’s memorial service, Tuesday, August 11th at 3:00pm at the Eastland Baptist Church, 9000 Lake Underhill Road, Orlando, FL 32825, with Rev. Daniel Green officiating.
