As we approach the 1 year Anniversary of one of the most beautiful and well loved people's passing to Heaven, the reality has yet to sink in. My children miss you terribly Aunt Donna, as you gave them so much love and encouragement, laughter, and hope, and you were such a support group to me during my times of need. I do not have enough words to describe the loss as we all feel it!! :) Everyone you touched is feeling the loss.

It is hard to believe that we have lived without for a year. Everyday is not the same without you here. I still look for you to talk to, to laugh with, to cry with. I miss you so much. love you

I can't believe it is almost a year sine I last heard your voice and saw your face. That welcoming face that I was used to seeing and took for granted. 
I miss you. I miss all of your funny stunts. 

Holoween this year was horrible. No one came close to your costumes but we had your spirit at work. 

We all miss you. Some of us still cry for you. We have  a tough time still. We can't heal as well as you might want us too.

My Deepest sympathy to the family of Donna.  It has been a long time since we saw each other or spoke. In 1984 when she left Red Lobster and opened what I remember was called 2nd Avenue on Oak Ridge Rd. We were pretty good friends during that time period. I have had this bad feeling for a while and was doing some family checks and was horrified that she was taken at such a young age. May God bless all of you that loved Donna and took care of her in her last days.

 I miss you, miss our Saturday morning phone talks while having coffee... OUR family will always be close together for you and the love you instilled in your brothers!

Even though I was just a patient there for 10 years, you always made me feel "special". Even on some of my darkest days, you were the ray of sunshine and laughter that always made me smile. I learned of your passing today when I went for my appointment and was devasted to hear that you have left your earthly body behind for something much much better.  I cry as I write this because your office will never be the same without you and I will miss your hugs and our playful banter. There is a huge hole in my heart and I will miss you dearly until we meet again. What a priviledge it was to call you my friend.  You were one of a kind. This is not "goodbye", it's "see ya later".

I havent seen Donna since our BMHS days but i can tell from the comments of others here that she was loved by many, many people. She must have been a wonderful person. I am so sorry for your loss.

I have been a frequent CDH patient for 10 years.  I never knew what kind of 'welcome' I would get from Miss Donna, as it would be different and hilariously memorable each and every time.  She had the gift of nudging smiles from the faces of some very sick people, on their worst of days.  I can still see her redheaded ray of sunshine, and I can still hear that mischievous cackling.  Over the past few days, I've envisioned Miss Donna and Liz Taylor sharing champagne and mani-pedis.  God must have really needed one heck of a receptionist.  Donna was truly one of a kind, and CDH will never be the same without her.

Very sorry to hear of Aunt Donna's passing. Although I haven't seen her since I was a child, I have fond memories of her babysitting us and she and I would take turns brushing each others hair...she had the most beautiful long dark hair. I remember meeting you in 1976 and you were not only stunning in looks but that sparking personality as well. You were selfless; loving/caring for Mudge, Pop, 5 brothers, and your nieces and nephews, and helping through difficult and joyous times. I have so many memories of you, but what I appreciate most is our "Summer/fall of 1987" and the times we shared. I know my 3 kids (Cyndi, Ricky, Krystle) will miss you dearly. God bless this family.

I remember some of the best parts of my childhood were hanging out with Aunt Donna. We would go next door and bug Pop :), we would walk to the lake and feed the ducks, she would let me put makeup on her (lol), we would go to the mall (prob her fave place back then), and so many other things. It was always such an adventure with sweet Donna, she had the most contagious laugh and goofiness. Her sense of humor could make the best of any situation. I will always cherish my memories with her. Give pop and Grandma a kiss for me. They have truly been sent an angel. Love you and miss you, Cyndi.

We met Donna a number of years ago at our doctor's office.  Donna would always greet us with a smile, a funny story, and kind words.  She treated everyone as if she had known them for years, and as if she was their closest friend.  She will truly be missed by us, the doughnut gang.

Donna was one of a kind in high school--a real beauty. Her presence would always make you smile. I grieve for the Edwards family today. I thought of Donna often over the years. I look forward to seeing her in eternity.
