Delphine "Del" Ruth Christoforrette Croy, age 79, passed away peacefully of natural causes on October 23, 2016 at home with her family in Winter Springs, FL. Born in Nanticoke PA, Del enlisted in the U.S. Air Force after attending Nanticoke High School, and was assigned to Eglin Air Force Base, FL. Del married Jack Croy in her hometown in 1957 and focused on making a home and raising her family. In 1978, Del joined Olan Mills Portrait Studios as a Portrait Consultant. Her passion for family extended to Olan Mills and her clients. Del was a top revenue consultant and mentored others as an Area Supervisor before being promoted as Southeast District Manager. The last three years prior to her retirement in 2002, she was a leader in the Olan Mills Church Division. Del was recognized with numerous awards to include “The Olan” award. Del loved to entertain, travel and visit friends and family. She was an avid league bowler, actively participated in several church activities, loved the beach, and enjoyed her daily Sudoku puzzles. Del was preceded in death by her father Angelo Christoforrette, mother Anna Barshanski Christoforrette, and her son Michael Croy. Del is survived by her sister Loretta Christoforetti Cardone of Attica, NY, her brother Angelo Christoforetti of Worcester, PA, her sons David Croy of Stafford, VA and Steven Croy of Jacksonville, FL, her two daughters Diana Croy Getz of Hickory, NC and Linda Croy of Orlando, FL as well as several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and her extended family. .
