Christina Elizabeth Mercer

In loving memory of Christina Elizabeth Mercer, a remarkable soul whose courage and resilience shone brightly throughout her over decade-long battle with cancer.

Christina is survived by her beloved son, Weston Wood (13), the light of her life. She is also survived by her loving parents, Paige Mercer (Frank Kilman) and Richard Mercer (Gabriela Juncos-Mercer), who provided unwavering love and comfort during her most difficult times.

Her siblings, Bradley, Nicholas (Alexia), and Adam, formed a tight-knit circle around their beloved big sister, each bringing their own distinctive connection and expression of love to their relationship with her.

She was also deeply cherished by her grandparents: Sue and Chris Rudolph, who bestowed upon her a lifetime of experiences, love, and cherished memories. She is also survived by her supportive grandmother, Carol Mercer, of Columbia, SC.

The bond Christina shared with Weston was one of profound love and devotion, and though she may no longer be physically present, her spirit will continue to guide and watch over him as he grows. All who are instrumental in supporting and guiding Weston will honor Christina's memory by providing him with the same love, support, and guidance that she so generously gave throughout her life. It is through their collective efforts that Christina's legacy of love and devotion will live on, ensuring that Weston carries forward her spirit of resilience and compassion in all that he does.

Though she may be gone from our sight, Christina's infectious laughter, unwavering spirit, and her boundless love, lives on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. As we mourn her passing, we take comfort in knowing that she is now free from pain and suffering, resting peacefully in the presence of her Lord and Savior.
