Carolyn came to Orlando, FL. When she was three years old because her father, Dr. Charles Joseph Collins Sr. and mother Jamie Camp Collins, settled here to start his medical practices.
Carolyn graduated from Orlando High School and Mary Baldwin University. She met the love of her life, Edward Laurence McLeod, Jr at Orlando High School and then married on November 1, 1947.
Carolyn was a mother of five children, nine grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
Carolyn is greatly loved and cherished. She will always be remembered by her family and friends with tenderness and affection.
A private family memorial service will be held at First Presbyterian Church of Maitland on November 2, 2021.
In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or if flowers are your preference, please have them delivered to First Presbyterian Church of Maitland, 341 North Orlando Avenue, Maitland, FL 32751 by 9:00am on November 2, 2021.
