Mr. Verle Allan Melz, 68, of Winter Haven, Florida, died February 4, 2018, in Tampa. He was born April 7, 1949, in Peoria, IL. and came to Winter Haven 14 months ago from Hampton, VA. He was a retired HMC of the U. S. Navy and a realtor. Verle was a member of First Calvary Baptist Church in Hampton, VA.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Deborah M. Melz, daughters Michelle E. Bailey, Ridgedale, MO, Nicole M. Melz, Stony Creek, VA, Katelyn E. Melz, Boston, MA, and son, Gregory A. Melz, Woodbridge, VA, 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held March 3, 2018 starting at 2:00 p.m. at First Calvary Baptist Church, 162 Alleghany Road, Hampton, VA, Pastor Mark D. Boyd, DD, Th.D.
