I never imagined when I met her so many years ago  that she would become such a big part of my life. Nor did I realized how much of an impact she would have upon me.  She was my friend, my mentor, my counselor, my cheerleader, my teacher, and my second mother amongst many other things. It is a huge loss for those of us that know and love her.  I am truly blessed for having shared a close relationship and bond with her. I will always cherish the time we shared together and miss her terribly.

Though we were cousins who lived miles away from each other, I have fond memories of the times we all spent together as a family when we were younger.  I remember Phyllis always having a smile on her face, always laughing.  Even though we hadn't seen each other in several years, I'm thankful we got to talk to each other on the phone recently.

I AM SO SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT YOUR MOTHER'S PASSING , WE SHARED SOME GREAT TIMES TOGETHER.. MAY HER SOUL REST IN PEACE

When we were in Westwood we skipped school at her house.  But her mom came home for lunch and weee went to the attic.    Wrong!   She will for ever be in my memories
