Patricia “Trish” Oglesby, 80, of Winter Haven, FL, passed away peacefully, on July 11, 2013. She was born on Feb. 9, 1933. She worked at the Winter Haven News Chief and retired from the Winter Haven Police Department.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bob and Jean Otte, and her children, Greg and Brad Oglesby. She is survived by her sister, Dee Dee Grinenko, nieces, Dawn Grinenko, Dori Baker, and Deidre Grinenko, a granddaughter, Rosie Oglesby, great grandchildren, Malai and Maya Teixeirra-Oglesby.
Many thanks to her dear friends, Mary Tanner, Ruth Polumbo, Miriam, Christy, her nurse Brenda, the staff at Lifecare Center of Winter Haven, her friends at Lake Howard Heights, and all those we’ve missed. Pat was a dear friend to us all and we will never forget her beautiful smile and loving heart. In lieu of flowers, please plant a flower or tree in her memory. A family memorial and celebration of Pat's life will be held at a later date.
