Jane Lindsay Given, age 71, of Winter Haven, Florida, peacefully passed away on Monday, November 18, 2024 after a courageous battle with Ovarian Cancer. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Jane made Winter Haven her home for the past 45 years, filling it with warmth, kindness, and love.
Jane was a devoted wife, a loving mother, a cherished grandmother, and a compassionate friend to all who knew her. She lived a life that exemplified grace, service, and unwavering devotion to her family. Her proudest role was being a mother, and she cherished every moment of it. Whether as the room mother at school events or a source of strength and joy at home, Jane’s love for her children knew no bounds.
With her radiant smile, she lit up every room she entered and lived life to its fullest, delighting in time spent with her family, friends, and her beloved dog, Mabel. Jane was known for her generous spirit and kind heart, always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.
Jane is survived by her husband of 44 years, Herbert Given III; her four children, Chelsea Given Fisher, Herbert Given IV, Maxwell Given, and Alexandra Given; her treasured sons- and daughters-in-law, Shane Fisher and Laura Collazos Given; and her beloved grandchildren, Mason Fisher, Jackson Fisher, Amelia Fisher, and Aubrey Given. Her family was her world, and her legacy of love and kindness will live on through them.
A funeral service at CenterPoint Church, 6950 Eloise Loop Rd, Winter Haven, FL 33884 at 1:00 PM. Jane will be laid to rest at Rolling Hills Cemetery, 4810 Tilden Rd, Winter Haven, Florida.
Though she is no longer with us, Jane will remain in our hearts forever, her memory a source of comfort and inspiration.
