WINTER HAVEN - Edith E. Harriger, 94 was called home to be with the Lord on May 31, 2013. She passed away at home from natural causes. She was born July 1, 1918 in Halton, PA.
Throughout her career, Mrs. Harriger owned a Laundromat and a grocery store, ultimately retiring from the Franklin Mint. She retired to Florida in 1980.
Mrs. Harriger is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Harriger of 74 years and grandson, Robert Zilcosky. She is survived by her 2 daughters Judith (Fred) Thorwart of Edmond Oklahoma and Patricia Zilcosky of Winter Haven Florida, 8 grandchildren: Deborah Thorwart, Barbara Tilley, Denise (Steve) Fisher, Craig (Iesha) Zilcosky, Danielle (Todd) Warren, Robyn (Jon) Carter, Leslie (Rob) Miller, and Danay (Rodney) Harvey, 18 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
A memorial service will be held in her honor at 1:00 on Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at First Baptist Church of Eagle Lake
