Dave (David) Lee Eaton, a cherished husband, brother, father, grandfather, brother-in-law, father-in-law, Uncle, and friend, entered into rest on December 15, 2024 at the age of 85. He lived his life with unwavering dignity, always true to his word, and was someone you could always count on.
Known for his sense of humor, he was a jokester who loved to bring laughter to those around him. His kindness and generosity were evident in his many years of service as a helpful hand to anyone in need. His patience, strength, and gratitude were qualities that defined him, making an impact on those around him.
A proud veteran of the United States Air Force, Dave served with honor and dedication. He was a man of faith and wished to be remembered as a Christian, a loving husband, father, and grandpa. His deep love for his family was evident in every moment spent with them and one of his proudest achievements was watching his children and grandchildren grow and excel, especially when it came to sports.
Spending much of his life on a farm, Dave had a great passion for farming and woodworking, hobbies that allowed him to be creative and productive. He enjoyed golfing, riding motorcycles, and teaching his grandchildren valuable lessons in leadership, always emphasizing the importance of hard work and integrity.
He found joy in the simple pleasures of life — Disney, the laughter of his grandchildren, and the playful teasing of his dogs and wife. But above all, his greatest love was his family, who brought him endless joy, and his forever love of sweets.
Dave is survived by his loving wife Deloris Eaton, children Dean Eaton (Angie), and Dalene Briggs (Carey), sisters Lurea Benedict, Donna Baysinger, and Debbie Adams, as well as grandchildren Brittany Dixon, Brandy Shortlidge, C.J Briggs, Stephen Briggs, Bryan Briggs, Tyler Briggs, and Austin Briggs, and nine great grandchildren.
