Mavis Ann Guthrie

Mavis A. Guthrie, age 86, of Winter Garden, FL passed away on February 21, 2021. She was born in Worrell, Kansas on March 22, 1934. Mavis graduated from El Dorado High School and attended Butler County Community College. She was married to Lynn G. Guthrie on October 2, 1954. Mavis was an owner operator for Kolor Photo. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and a member of St. Luke’s Church. She is preceded in life by her parents Ralph and Barbara Seymour, her brother Durward Seymour, and her sister Barbara Gardiner. She is survived by her husband, Lynn G. Guthrie, children, Denise Jenkins of Winter Garden, Steve Guthrie of Venice, FL and Michael Guthrie of Windermere, FL. , grandchildren, Jamie Jenkins, Justin Jenkins, Corey Guthrie and Nichole Guthrie, her sister Avil Jewett of Hutchinson, Kansas. Celebration of Mavis’s life will be held on Friday, March 5, 2021 at 10:30am at St. Luke United Methodist Church 4851 S Apopka Vineland Rd, Orlando, FL 32819 Limited setting will be available due to Covid 19 restrictions .
