Cynthia “Cindy” Kyle passed away on Thursday, June 27, after a valiant battle with Parkinson’s Disease and Lewy Body Dementia in Winter Garden. Cindy was born on April 16, 1950, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Roger and Bea Bouvier. She grew up in Monroeville, PA, and spent her summers in Lyons, NY. She graduated from Gateway High School in 1968.
Cindy moved to Orlando with her family in 1976 and spent the first five years as a homemaker. Her career as an Inside Sales Representative for numerous building products wholesale companies and a Customer Service Representative at multiple self- storage facilities in Orlando, spanned more than 30 years. After her “retirement” in 2015, she began working part-time at Crayola Experience.
Cindy loved people and never met a stranger. Her heart’s greatest desire was realized with the birth of her first grandchild just before her 51st birthday. Cindy’s grandchildren were truly the lights of her life. She enjoyed spending as much time with them as possible, playing computer games, spending time at Disney and the beach, reading, and telling her famous “Cindy stories.”
Cindy was preceded in death by both of her parents. She is survived by her daughters, Erika Gray of Orlando and Bethany (Wayne) Rundell of Brevard, NC; her brother, Rodney (Marsha) Bouvier of Monroeville; her grandchildren, Madison Gray, Bradley Rundell, and Tyler Rundell; and many cousins.
A memorial service will be held for Cindy at Baldwin-Fairchild Funeral Home in Winter Garden on Saturday, July 20, 2019 at 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Cindy’s name to Jameson’s Joy (www.jamesonsjoy.org), a North Carolina-based charity supporting “random acts of kindness.”
