Cecilia Y. Gordon, 89, died Mon., Sept. 8. Born in Santa Maria, CA. Moved to Central FL in 1953. Member of Lane Street Baptist Church. She was known for her meticulous yard work and her witty personality. She was always a kid at heart. She also worked for Lockheed Martin for 10 years. Cecilia was preceded in her passing by her husband of 56 years, James Gordon, daughter, Patricia Oliphant (Doug), and son, Homer Gordon. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Bunnell (Roger) of Montverde, FL; granddaughters Sabrina Bunnell (Shay Simpson) of Orlando, FL and Kelly Conner (Steve) of Tallahassee, FL; and great-granddaughters Skylyn and Kyleigh. Visitation will be held from 6-8pm on Thurs., Sept. 11 at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home, 428 E. Plant Street, Winter Garden, FL 34787. Service will follow on Fri., Sept. 12 at 10am at the funeral home. Burial at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.
