Jimmie was born and raised in Winston-Salem along with his twin brother, Jerry Michael Fox, who preceded him in death.
At the tender age of 20, Jimmie enlisted with the United States Army during the Vietnam War where he was a skilled M-14 Rifle sharpshooter and expert shooter for M-16 Rifles. Following a 2yr deployment in Panama, Jimmie returned to his family and Forsyth County for the remainder of his life. While he served, Jimmie developed a passion for firearms which never faded. He devoted countless hours enjoying and adding to his collection. His other hobbies included golf, fishing, and camping.
Jimmie leaves to cherish his memory his two daughters, Christie (Jamie) Craig and Crystal Blair (Ian) Huffman, and spouse Diane Carico. He will also be remembered by his four grandchildren, Andrew, Ivan, Taylor, and Harrison, and several cousins.
The family acknowledges with deepest gratitude the many thoughtful deeds and comforting words of love and concern during this difficult time. Your love and care made all the difference.
