Jerry Dean Dyson

Jerry Dean Dyson gained his angel wings on June 5, 2023. Jerry was from Chadbourn, NC but had lived in King for the last 25 years. He was an Army Veteran serving in the Vietnam War. He worked as a supervisor for Thermal Insulation for 24 years. Apart from spending time with family and friends, he was an avid race fan. Jerry was preceded in death by his wife of 20 years, Nancy Neal Dyson, his parents Culbreth E. Dyson and Berniece Carroll, four brothers Culbreth E. Dyson, Jr., David M. Dyson, Kenneth A. Dyson, Charles A. Dyson, and a sister Edna P. Dyson. He is survived by his canine best friend, Spanky, a son Michael (Christy) Dyson, two daughters Lisa (Scott) Tyndall and Robin (Harold) Denny, a brother Steven "George" Dyson, a sister Linda Brown, seven grandchildren; Joseph Robbins, Alana (Antonio) Robbins, Susie (Michael) Inman, Alexandria (Alexander) Chimbulev, Avery (Eli) Moore, Jeremy (Hattie) Tyndall, Byron (Jessica) Tyndall and 11 great grandchildren with another one on the way, and a very special friend Connie Jones. Funeral services will be held at 12;00 Friday at Vogler Funeral Home at Forsyth. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service. Entombment will follow at Mausoleum Chapel at Forsyth.
