Art attended the University of Manitoba and graduated in May of 1958 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering. Art began his Professional Engineering career at the Saskatchewan Power Corporation where he met the love of his life Margaret (Marg) McDonald. They were married in August of 1959 in Regina.
