After highschool he briefly worked for Manitoba Hydro. Soon after he started his career as an ATC (Air Traffic Controller) in 1972. He was stationed at the Thompson tower in 1973 then moved to the St. Andrews Control Tower and worked there from 1974-1979. Robin made many friends throughout his years at work and loved to participate and play hockey on the ATC team. Outside of work he made friends with people easily with his interests and outgoing social demeanor. In the summers he loved to visit Gladstone Manitoba, and Lynch's Point to spend time with his family. He loved to go fishing, camping, boating, and golfing. Robin was a hard working man, and always gave it his all. His love for his family was always top priority. Robin left us far too soon, but we are left feeling so fortunate to have had him in our lives. He left a legacy of love, honesty and integrity.
