Philip Brian Reimer

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our loved one, Brian, on January 1, 2018 at the age of 60. Born on December 26, 1957 in Winnipeg, he attended Mulvey Elementary, Gordon Bell Junior High, Salisbury Morse Place Junior High, and Kildonan East Collegiate. Brian loved his family and friends very much, and was a kind-hearted person with a good sense of humour. Brian was a very hardworking individual, spending many years in the sewer and drain industry. For the last 27 years he worked at The City of Winnipeg South-End and West-End Sewage Treatment Plants. Brian loved the outdoors, tending to his flower gardens, and feeding birds, bunnies, and ducks. He also was very interested in cars and electronics. Brian discovered a love for travel after a family trip to Hawaii in 2016. Predeceased by his father, Peter Reimer in 1965, and by his mother, Pearl Reimer in 2011, he is survived by his wife Karen, his children Kailyn, Josh and Blake, his siblings Jim (Arlene), Jeannie (Rikk), Janet (Jim) and Patricia, father-in-law and mother-in-law Robert and Elsie Fulawka, and many extended family members. Thank you to the first responders and the staff of Concordia Hospital Emergency Room for their efforts to save our loved one. Cremation has taken place. A private memorial service will be held at Klassen Funeral Home, 1897 Henderson Highway. We feel so blessed to have had you in our lives for the last 32 years. You will be forever missed and in our hearts.
