Peacefully, on February 5, 2020 mother passed away at the age of 92 years.
She was predeceased by her parents Maude and Garnet Mayers; three siblings Betty, Barbara and John; and her husband Roy, the love of her life.
She will be sadly missed by her daughter Lynne Misurka (Ed) and son Brad (Gladys); her grandchildren Sarah Hyslop (Ian), Kate Misurka (Ryan Jenks), Andrew Gardiner (Dana) and Brett Gardiner; great-grandchildren John, Ewan, Gareth and Emily Hyslop and Gunnar Gardiner; sister Phyllis Bjarnarson; sister-in-law Evelyn Mayers; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 5, 2020 at 2:00 pm at Thomson “In the Park” Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Boulevard.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the St. Norbert Personal Care Home.
