Manpreet Kaur Sandhu

With great sadness, we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Manpreet Kaur Sandhu on November 30, 2023, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, at the age of 35 years.

Manpreet was born in Mandi Gobindgarh. She was the eldest daughter of the Late S. Gurinder Singh Sekhon and Sharanjit Kaur Sekhon. She completed her BA degree from AS college in Mandi Gobindgarh. She married Gurpreet Singh Sandhu from Mohali in 2008 and gave birth to two beautiful children. Manpreet moved to Winnipeg, Canada, in 2017 to start a new chapter of her life with her family. She spent most of her time raising her two children and assisting her husband with family and business decisions. Manpreet was a loving, gracious, and kind woman. She greeted everyone with a warm smile and opened her arms and heart to everyone she met. She believed in charity work. She was deeply moved by Bhai Ranjit Singh Dhadarian Wale's teachings, and devoted to Parmeshwar Dwar.

Manpreet leaves to mourn her husband Gurpreet Singh Sandhu, daughter Singh Nanki, son Harsamrath Singh Sandhu, mother Sharanjit Kaur Sekhon, grandmothers Gurdaas Kaur Sekhon (Dadi ji) Gurmeet Kaur Cheema (Nani ji), sister Amandeep Kaur Mangat, brother Anmol Kamal Singh Sekhon, brother-in-law Janmaninder Singh Mangat, Nieces and Nephews Mangalveer Singh Mangat, Japnaam Singh Mangat, Harliv Kaur Sekhon, Shehzadveer Singh Sekhon, Gurnoor Kaur Sekhon, Japnoor Kaur Sekhon, Gurshaan Singh Sekhon, Gunraj Singh Sekhon, Gurveen kaur kang, Parbir Singh Kang, In Laws Satpal Singh Sandhu and Rupinder Kaur Sandhu, sister-in-law Amandeep Kaur Kang, Brother-in-law Jasnoor Singh Kang, cousins Gursahib Singh Sekhon, Manider Sekhon, Manvir Singh Dhillon, Hardil Singh Dhillon, Jashan Preet Lehal, Parbir Singh Lehal, Mohneet Cheema, Harnoor Cheema, Uncles Narinder Singh Sekhon, Bhupinder Singh Dhillon, Balbir Singh Lehal, Palwinder Singh Cheema, Aunts Manjeet Kaur Sekhon, Gurjeet Kaur Dhillon, Kamal Lehal, Davinder Kaur Cheema and numerous friends.

Funeral Service will be held at 2:00PM on Sunday, December 17, 2023 at Thomson "In the Park" Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. Winnipeg, MB R3T 5Y4.

Cremation is being handled by Thomson “In The Park” Funeral Home and Cemetery, 1291 McGillivray Blvd, Winnipeg, MB R3T5Y4.
