It is with deep sorrow that we announce the unexpected passing of our Wife, Mother, Nonna, and Sister Giuseppina at the age of 78. She was born in Palermo Sicily to Ercole Borgomini and Antonina Giambona. She will be remembered by her husband of over 57 years Giuseppe Antonino, her daughter Rosa (Tony) and son Paul (Michelle), grandchildren Stefano, Gabriel, Gianna, sisters Maria (Piero), Rosaria (Orazio), brother Domenico (Vita) and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, sisters; Francesca (Serafino), Caterina (Salvatore), Antonina, and brother Orazio (Anna) and nephew Francesco.
Giuseppina immigrated to Canada in 1965 and married Antonino on October 30 of the same year. They welcomed their children Rosa (1966), Paul (1972). Giuseppina was a dedicated mother and wife who always put her family first. In addition to caring tirelessly for us, she worked hard as a seamstress for over twenty years. Mom was a gentle caring soul who sacrificed endlessly for her family and those she loved. She was liked by all who knew her.
Her passions were cooking, gardening, and looking after her family. Mom made each holiday special and fun for us all. She was very creative when sewing clothing and costumes and even making us toys. Her greatest joy were her grandchildren, Stefano, Gabriel and Gianna. They were her heart and sunshine.
Mom, you taught us how to love, care and forgive and made us into the people we are today. We love you Mom/Nonna. There are no words to express how much you will be missed. We will always remember you with a smile and hope you will always watch over us.
Mamma sei sempre nei nostril cuori. Riposa in Pace.
