Elaine Anne-Marie Kelln

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, Elaine on July 18, 2022.

Elaine is survived by her husband Bob of 53 years, two children, Travis (Britt) and Christi as well as three grandchildren, Alicia, Seth & Eric. She is also survived by her brother Ron Cinch and his family.

Elaine was born on September 2, 1947 in Winnipeg to Mike and Anne Cinch. She graduated from the University of Manitoba and took on a position as a Social Worker with the Province of Manitoba. Subsequently, she worked for the Province in Home Care and the WRHA.

Elaine was an avid runner, having completed 13 marathons and numerous races, and was a founding member of the Flavour Buds Running Club. She was passionate about her family, indigenous issues, and many charities. Elaine was well liked with a great sense of humour. She enjoyed gardening, hosting dinner parties, travelling the world, loved animals, and was proud of her Ukrainian heritage.

The family would like to thank Home Care and Vista Park Lodge for providing such great care & compassion.

At Elaine’s request, there will be no funeral service.
