He was also a member of the Full Gospel Business Men’s Association for most of his professional life, being president for several years. He deeply enjoyed the encouragement of their many breakfast gatherings as business and non-business people alike gave their lives to Jesus.
For churches and organizations that Dave was passionate about, he loved to volunteer his accounting and auditing skills. He served as auditor for several years with Camp Arnes as well as Living Bible Explorers, amongst others..
Dave currently attended and was active in the Whyte Ridge Baptist Church. He had previously been a member of Calvary Temple for 28 years. He hated to sit still and enjoyed the farming life for several years in the Oak Bluff vicinity, and then carefully attended to his garden once living in the city. He generally loved to be in the outdoors, and spent several summers with Brenda in Gimli.
Dave was an avid sports fan, and loved watching the Jets, Bombers, and Seahawk games live in person and on television.
