It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Al on Friday August 6, 2021 at the age of 64.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Carrie-Lee and his infamous dog Maui; children Chris (Tamra), Dayna (Brian) and Tracy (Richard); Grandchildren Olive, Gray, Gunner, Beatrice, Heidi and Petra; sister Donna (Fred), as well as many other relatives and friends. Al was pre-deceased by his parents and his brother Gord.
Al had an adventurous spirit and loved music, food, wine, travel, a good game of scrabble, The Jets, Blue Bombers and most of all, hosting pool parties with his family and friends. During his lengthy career in the paint industry Al was known as “the Ledge” (Legend).
Many thanks to the palliative care team for their love and care.
As per Al’s wishes, a private celebration of life will be held by family.
