It is with great sadness and heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Aaron Charles Smith on August 24, 2022.
Aaron is survived by his wife Melanie; sons, Aven, Dane and Jace; parents, Brian and Nancy;
Brother Ryan (Kendra); close family members and countless friends.
Aaron was born in Winnipeg on June 12, 1981. He graduated from Windsor Park Collegiate and went on to become a Red Seal Journeyman Millwright. Aaron’s passions included being with family and friends, always being the life of the party. He loved golfing, hunting and hockey when he was younger. He always encouraged his boys to do what they loved with passion.
He loved making handmade tables out of live edge wood for his wife Melanie.
Aaron was truly loved and will be missed dearly.
A service for Aaron will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, September 9 at Thomson in the Park, 1291 McGillivray Blvd; with a celebration of life to follow at Southdale Community Centre,
254 Lakewood Blvd. from 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm.
A private interment will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association.
