February 19, 2012, passed away after a long bravely fought battle in his 70th year. Predeceased by his loving mother Margaret Ann Moore (2003) and by his grandfather Walter E. Boddy (1979). Survived by his devoted son Dwayne (Sheila), loving daughters Wendy Aqwa (Dan) and Kim Wheeler (John D’Alimonte). Proud papa to Chelsea, Haley, Devon, Bryce, Rachel and Bethany. Walter retired from Ford Motor Company after 28 years of service in 1999. The family would like to thank all of the staff from Season’s Retirement Community, Amherstburg, Royal Oak Long Term Care, Kingsville as well as Dr Bagga and all of the nurses at the HDGH – Dialysis Unit. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Walter D Kelly Funeral Home, 1969 Wyandotte Street East, Windsor 519-252-5711 on Wednesday, February 22, 2012 from 6:00p.m. to 9:00p.m. A private burial will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Kidney Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
