With his loving family by his side on November 22, 2019 at 85 years of age. Loving husband of Nora Ann for 47 1/2 years. Beloved father of Jerome Francis Bauer, Ann Marie (Mark Makse) and Barry “Skip”. James was the only and much loved son of the late James & Clara Waddell of Stratford. Jim is survived by his sister Pauline Turner (Ed dec.) and predeceased by her sisters Margaret York (Reg), Clare Emery (Ed), and Helen Novak (John). Jim will be sadly missed by all of his family and friends. He was a proud graduate of the University of Windsor with a bachelors degree in commerce. Following graduation he worked as an underwriter for G.M. before taking a position with the Home Insurance Company of Detroit where he met his beloved wife Nora Ann. Jim loved all athletics, horse racing, music and time with his family. He was a gift from God and the love of our lives.
