Gerda Johanna Donaldson

88 years. Passed away peacefully after a short battle with cancer on March 22, 2011 at Peel Manor, Brampton. Predeceased by her beloved husband Arthur Donaldson (2004). Predeceased by her beloved daughter Hannelore (1990). Loving grandmother to Robert Donaldson (Dianne). Dear sister to the late Margaret Breuel and husband Heinz of Germany, Inge Reif and her late husband Addi of Texas. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. She will be dearly missed by family and friends in Canada, the United States, England, Germany and Holland. Gerda was a member of First Lutheran Church Windsor and a member and volunteer of the Independent Order of Foresters. Gerda will always be remembered for her kind and generous heart, and her love of roses and flowers. Our family wishes to thank all the staff at Peel Manor LTC Centre. She will be sadly missed by all. Visitation will be held at Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 895 Ouellette Avenue (519-254-3223) on Friday from 2-5 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will held on Saturday, March 26, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. in the Anderson Memorial Chapel. Interment at Victoria Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorial tributes to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
