Bentley Edward Thomas (Ted) passed away on January 17, 2016 with his family by his side at the age of 79. Predeceased by his loving wife Shirley Ann (Nee Gornall) 1998 as well as his parents; Roy Bentley Sr. 1953 and Mildred Reed Bentley (Nee Jewel) 1993. Edward is also predeceased by his sister, Betty Caza and bothers Donald and Roy Bentley Jr.
Loving father to Ken Jamieson, Sylvia Jamieson (Scott Frey) and Lynn Cusmanic (Paul). Loving Papa (Pops) to Chuck and Paul Mathers, Leah and Lona Ryan. Survived by his sisters; Bonnie Pomeroy (John) and Donna Krahn (Willy). He will also be missed by his Friends, Nieces and Nephews.
Ted was born and lived in Windsor his whole life. 35 year construction worker and member of the local Carpenters 494 and worked for Chrysler Canada for 5 years. Past business agent for Lathers local 439 Windsor. Past Treasury of the Eagle Club FOE 4105 Windsor. A special thanks to the staff at Para-Med and CCAC for taking care of our Pops.
