Do not think of me as gone, I am with you still, in each new dawn. Re-united with her loving husband, Ronald McVicar Stewart (1984), and parents Collin Joseph and Mary Matilda Moore. Pre-deceased by siblings Collin, Beatrice, Robert, Gladys (Lyle), Colleen (Joe), Donald, Margaret (Norman), Violet (Louie), Jack and Diane. Survived by sister Betty Nickerson (Doug), William and Anita Moore and Sister-in-law Edith Moore. Beloved Mother of James and Barbara Stewart (B.C.), Collin and Sharon Stewart, Ruth-Anne Stewart and Janet and Clarence Weiler. Dear Grandmother of Shelley (Michael), Richard (Christine), Elizabeth (Rob), Cheryl (Mike), Antoinette, Ronnie, Ruthmary, Shannon (David), Jamie, Marnie (James), Philip and David. Great Grandma to Angelica, Alexandra, Amanda, Kaitlyn, Anthony, Luke, Lianna, Lila, Ethan, Madeleine, Flora, Harriet, Hamish, Jana, William, Claire and Baby Penner. Mae was a long time member of the Emmanuel United Church where she was an Explorer Leader and Sunday School Teacher. She was a proud member of the United Church Women’s Group, active in the Eastern Star and a member of the Shrine Oriental Band Wives. The love for her family was unconditional and we will never forget the kindness and compassion with every life that she touched. The family would like to thank the Staff at Brouillette Manor for the care and love given to Mae in the last 3 years. Donations in memory of Mae may be made to Emmanuel United Church. Visitation will be held at Walter D. Kelly Life Celebration Centre (1969 Wyandotte St. E.) on Saturday from 7 – 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 - 4 & 7 – 9 p.m. A Celebration of Mae’s Life will take place on Monday, January 28, 2013 at the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Windsor Grove Cemetery.
