Mr. Wilson was a self-employed welder throughout his career. He is the son of Cecil and Helen Edwards Wilson. Mr. Wilson is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Marie Baughcum Wilson.
Mr. Wilson is survived by his son, Chris (Katie) Wilson and his daughter, Kendra (Douglas) Bloodworth; brother, Danny Wilson; sisters, Kathy Baughcum, Judy (James) Gaddis, Shelia (Harold) Henson, and Carol (Jim) Esco; and five grandchildren, Kyle and Bradyn Wilson, Steven Crowe, Haven Thornton, and Ryleigh Moncrief.
The funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Steve Wilson will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of Smith Funeral Home. Burial will follow the service at Barrow Memorial Gardens. Reverend Frankie Green and Mike Farmer will officiate the service. The family will be receiving friends on Saturday, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., prior to the service at the funeral home.
Smith Funeral Home, Winder, is entrusted with the arrangements for Mr. Wilson.
