Sandra “Sandi” Morton Scott, 80, of Winder, passed away Monday, September 25 surrounded by her family. Born in Athens, Georgia, she was predeceased by her parents Doris Gann Morton and Henry Joseph Morton.
Sandi is survived by her husband, Ray Scott; daughter, Penny Courtney (Terry); granddaughter, Nicki Brookshire (Barry); brother, Frank Morton (Beverly); sisters, Paula Arnold (Jimmy) and Hank Arnold; stepdaughter, Julie Fogg (Russell); step-granddaughters: Brittany Tuz (Nick) and Kelsey Fogg; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Sandi loved Lady Dogs basketball, Georgia Bulldogs football, going to the beach, and spending time with her family. She also loved Loretta Lynn and attended many of her concerts.
A visitation for friends and family will be held Friday, September 29, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Smith Funeral Home, 755 Atlanta Hwy SE, Winder, GA. Following the visitation will be A Celebration of Life Service at 4:00 PM in Smith Memory Chapel, 755 Atlanta Hwy SE, Winder, GA.
