Ricky Ray Jordan

Ricky Ray Jordan age 61 of Auburn, passed away Sunday, August 12, 2018. He was a native of Robbinsville, NC and a Member of The Robbinsville Masonic Lodge # 0672. Ricky was of the Christian faith and a member of Hebron Baptist Church. Ricky attended Western Carolina University and retired as a Rodbuster “reinforcing iron worker”, working for several companies throughout his career. He was an avid Georgia Football and SEC fan and loved to hunt and fish. Ricky is survived by his wife of 36 years, Sharon Wiggins Jordan of Auburn; two daughters, Jacqueline Jordan of Auburn and Crystal Adams (Lee) of Winder; his parents, Billy Ray and Mildred Odom Jordan of Robbinsville, NC; a brother, Roger Jordan of Robbinsville; two grandchildren, Hailey and Katie Adams and two nieces and a nephew, Courtney Wiggins, Adarian Nelms and Coy Jordan. A memorial service will be held at 2PM Friday, August 17, 2018 at Hebron Baptist Church with Pastor Duke Forrester officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 1PM until service time. A service will be held in Robbinsville at 2PM Sunday, August 19, 2018 at Mountain Creek Baptist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society in Ricky’s memory. Smith Funeral Home, Winder, GA is in charge of arrangements.
