Born in Amherst in Hancock County, Maine, she was the daughter of the late Hollis Elmer and Laura C. Selsby Salisbury. She was a member of New Pentecost United Methodist Church. Mrs. McDonald was preceded in death by her husband, Chandler L. McDonald.
Survivors include son and daughter-in-law Richard and Ann Harris, Winder; step sons James and Dennis McDonald; and step daughter Cindy Tagliapietra. She also had 11 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from noon to 2 p.m. on Saturday, at Smith Funeral Home, Winder. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 11, at Pentecost Methodist Church with the Rev. Billy Pittman officiating. Burial will be in the Pentecost Methodist Church Cemetery.
