Earl Dean Lee

Earl Dean Lee born August 8, 1935 in Jackson County, GA. Earl "Dean" was born to the late Royce and Sally Ann Nix Lee. Dean gained his wings on May 24, 2021. He was preceded in death by his wife Betty Wells and later by Robbie Lee. The family will receive family and friends from 6-8pm Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at Smith Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 4pm Thursday, May 27, 2021 at Smith Memory Chapel with Rev. Hal Tapp officiating. Burial will follow at Barrow Memorial Gardens.

Dean served in the U.S. Army from 1956-1963. After that he worked in the textile industry. He loved to "tinker" with lawnmowers and loved the outdoors.

To cherish his memories he leaves behind two daughters: Judy Kesterson of Winder, GA, Rebecca "Becky" McDaniel (Tony) of Statham, GA, and Emily Lee of Loganville, GA. Grandchildren include Randy Davis (Alicia) of Waynesville, MO, Eric Kesterson (Meagan) of Winder, GA, Jessica Kesterson (Kris) of Colbert, GA and Ashley Cooper (Rayez) of Winder, GA. Great grandchildren include Desiree Davis, Joshua Davis, Briana Davis, Rayleigh Cooper, Raylin Cooper, Wilson Kesterson, Oakleigh Kesterson and Amelia Shirey. Also leaving a dear friend Minnie Carlyle along with many friends and others lives whom he touched over the years. He was dearly loved by many and will be greatly missed.
