Doris Faye Edwards

Doris Faye Edwards, age 63, of Bethlehem, GA passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2024. Faye was born in Columbia, SC, on May 26, 1961 to the late Joseph Franklin and Carolyn Reed. She spent her early years in Oxon Hill, MD and moved to Commerce, GA where she graduated from Commerce High School. She was an Administrative Assistant at O'Neal, Broach, & Still in Winder for 24 years. Faye loved doing for others and helping whenever she could. She loved her family and enjoyed traveling. She was an enthusiastic concert goer.

In addition to her parents, Faye was preceded in death by her son, Brad Edwards, and her brother, Norman Cheseldine. She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Neal Edwards. Faye is also survived by her son, Timothy (Erica) Edwards of Bethlehem; daughter, Shalaina Edwards of Bethlehem; siblings: Steve Reed of Athens, GA, James Reed of Starr, SC, and Carolyn (Paul) Cribbs of Anderson, SC; 6 grandchildren: Chandler Kettering, Alex Edwards, Ally Edwards, Cameron Edwards, Parker Edwards, and Blaine Edwards; daughter-in-law, Kyra Edwards; and several nieces and nephews.

A Visitation will be held Sunday, December 22, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Smith Funeral Home, Winder, GA, followed by a Celebration of Life at 2:00 PM in Smith Memory Chapel.
