Mr. Billy Landers

Smith Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Billy Landers age 69 of Statham, GA. Mr. Landers retired from Chicago Bridge and Iron as a water tank painter. He was a member of the Painters Alliance Union. He was of the Baptist Faith. He was preceded in death by his wife Shirley Clark Landers. His parents, The late Mr. and Mrs. Luther “Luke” and Pauline Beck Landers. He is survived by two sons and daughter-in-laws, Billy Ray and Darlene Landers, Statham. Eddie and Misty Landers, Winder. Four Daughters and three son-in-laws, Kay and Bubby Moore, Winder. Tracey and Wendell Sargent, Winder. Angie and Jamie O’Steen, Winder. Genny McDaniel, Statham. One Brother, Donald Landers, Winder. Two sisters, Peggy Nix, Winder and Kathy Gunter, Statham. Thirteen Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren. Several Niece’s and nephew’s. Visitation will be held Sunday April 15, 2012 from six until nine PM and Monday April 16, 2012 from two until four PM and six until nine PM. Funeral services will be held Tuesday April 17, 2012 at two PM at Smith Memory Chapel with the Rev. Lamar Casper officiating. Interment will be at Rose Hill Cemetery.
