Mozelle is preceded in death by her husband, E. T. Taylor Jr., a farmer and well-known local builder and her parents Mattie Lee and Eddie Lee Cooper of Nash County.
She was born on May, 13, 1922 and was the last of six Cooper children; J.B., Harold, Horace, Eddie Jr. and Ernestine Poythress. She recently celebrated her 100th birthday with a large gathering of family and friends.
Mozelle is survived by eight nieces and eight nephews of the Cooper and Taylor families. She was a generous and loving aunt and a second mother to all. She will be greatly missed in this life.
Family will receive friends and visitors on Friday, July 1, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at Thomas-Yelverton Funeral Home in Wilson. Funeral Service will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, July 1, 2022 at Thomas-Yelverton Funeral Home, 2704 Nash St. N, in Wilson with interment immediately following at Evergreen Memorial Park in Wilson.
