In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth Mills.
Tony grew up in the Black Jack community. He always loved his country and served in the U.S. Army from 1958-1964. He was a proud citizen of the United States of America. He worked for DuPont Co. for 38 years. Fifteen years of this service was at the DuPont Plant in Kinston, NC. He retired as an Engineering Specialist in 1991 from the Wilmington, NC plant after 38 years of service. He was involved in many of the new plants through Foreign Technology and did a lot of international travel. As a young child, he faithfully attended church and continued to serve the Lord for the rest of his life. He was a member of Pine Valley Church of God for the past 11 years. Prior to that, he was also a member of the Greenville First PH Church where he served on the Building Committee as Supervisor of Construction in the building of the new church on Plaza Drive.
He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Janette Mills; daughters: Lori Pack and husband, Dan of Charlotte, NC, Tonya Mills of Wilmington, NC, and Jana Rozier and husband, Edward of Charlotte, NC; grandchildren: Andrew Pack, Justin Pack, and William Rozier, all of Charlotte, NC; brother, Don and wife, Paula of Greenville, NC; and nieces: Karen Corey and husband, Vic and Daune Pitman and husband, Keith, all of Greenville, NC.
The Funeral Service will be held at 2:00pm on Monday, May 23, 2022 at Pine Valley Church of God with Pastor Paul Loftin officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow after the Funeral Service at Oleander Memorial Gardens with Military Honors.
