It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Rosemary Patricia McFeeters Lund of Spring Hill, Florida, who departed this life at the age of 92 on April 21, 2025. Born on May 19, 1932, in Brooklyn, New York, Rosemary lived a long and beautiful life, surrounded by the love of family and friends.
As the last surviving child of seven, Rosemary embodied the spirit of resilience and warmth that defined her family. She was married to Robert McFeeters for 41 wonderful years, during which they nurtured a loving home and raised six children. After Robert's passing, Rosemary found love again with Stan Lund, sharing 20 joyful years of marriage until his passing.
Rosemary was a devoted mother to her children: Michael, Kathleen, Patricia, James(Heather), Robert and Beth McFeeters. She took immense pride in her role as a Nana to her grandchildren—Alexandria Insinga and Dillon Breuning, Tristan McFeeters and Sara McFeeters, Kelly Browne, Shane Browne, Roberta MacGray, Shannon Browne, and Brian Browne, and Lily McFeeters. Her family was her greatest joy, and she cherished every moment spent with them.
A dedicated professional, Rosemary retired from Salem Hospital after 15 years of service, and she and Bob moved to Florida to enjoy their retirement years together. An avid golfer, Rosemary celebrated several hole-in-ones throughout her life, a testament to her competitive spirit and love for the game. She loved to travel and was fortunate to see the world with both Bob and Stan. Faith was central to her life. She loved her church and served proudly as a Eucharistic minister. Rosemary also enjoyed playing cards and mahjong with her many friends, creating lasting bonds and joyful memories.
Rosemary's warmth, kindness, and beautiful smile will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of love and resilience that will continue to inspire her family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at St. Francis Cabrini Catholic Church in Spring Hill, Florida, on June 5, 2025, to honor her remarkable life. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Hospice, an organization that provided comfort and care during her final days.
Rest in peace, dear Rosemary. Your spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those you loved and who loved you.
