In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Norma McGowan Moore.
She is survived by a brother, Delmar McGowan and wife Dixie of Wilmington, NC; nieces, Marsha Lewis of Kenansville, NC, Susan Moore of Greensboro, NC, Elexsis Sutton and husband David of Wilmington, NC; nephews, Glen Moore of Hampstead, NC, Starkey McGowan and wife Wanda of Wilmington, NC; numerous great nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am on Friday, August 6, 2021 at Coble Funeral & Cremation Service at Greenlawn Memorial Park , 1155 Shipyard Blvd., Wilmington, NC. The family will receive friends from 10:30 – 11:00AM.
Burial will follow at Masonboro Baptist Church Cemetery.
