Michael Danny Wright

Michael Danny Wright, 65, of Rocky Point, NC went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 13, 2019. He was born in Fort McClellan, Anniston, AL on January 8, 1954 to Aaron Wayne Wright, Sr. and Roberta Greene Wright, whom preceded him in death.

He is survived by his wife; Donna Jean Poole Wright, daughter; Jennifer Westerfield (Philip), sons; Michael Wright, Clint Cochrane, Kevin Cochrane (Kelley), brothers; Aaron W.(Butch) Wright, Jr. (Bobbie), David Wright (Debbie), sisters; Sharon Hohenadel (John), Sandy DeLoach (Roy), grandchildren; Cheyenne Westerfield, Jayden, Kerrian, Amir, Grayson, Anna and Nolan Cochrane; nine nieces, nine nephews and many others who loved him as their own Uncle and Paw Paw.

First and foremost he loved the Lord. He served as a Sergeant in the Army and was well accomplished. He was a talented musician and had an anointed angelic voice. Danny entertained his family and friends with his joy of cooking and he was an avid Saints fan.

Visitation will be held at 12:00 pm with the funeral service following at 1:00 pm on Saturday, August 17, 2019 at Brookfield Church of God, 131 Elliot Drive, Wilmington, NC 28405.
