Kathleen Mary Naughton

Kathy is survived by her husband of nearly 47 years, Don, and her daughter, Jacqueline, son-in-law, Brian, and countless family and friends who will miss her dearly.

Kathy was born in Brooklyn, NY on July 30, 1951 to Joseph and Jacqueline Kissick, and grew up in Hicksville, NY. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, godmother, aunt, niece, cousin, and friend. She was an avid “entertainer,” even in her final days, making sure everyone had something to eat or drink, and a comfortable place to sit. She enjoyed her role as the “social director” and events committee chair amongst her Westport community and friends. She had a natural instinct as a caregiver, finding what you needed and giving it to you, sometimes before you knew you needed it. Above all, she made everyone feel like family and loved a good party.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at Coble Funeral & Cremation Service at Greenlawn Memorial Park.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 23, 2021 at The Basilica Shrine of Saint Mary, 412 Ann Street, Wilmington, NC.
