He was born in Raleigh, NC on April 16, 1976 to Preston E. and Nina B. Hunt.
Jason enjoyed fishing, watching fishing, hunting and football. He was the voice of Laney Men’s Varsity Soccer and a huge Cowboys and Jeff Gordon fan. His biggest accomplishments were being a great husband and father as well as a great friend and all around know-it-all.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Nina B. Hunt and mother-in-law, Sandra McPhatter.
Jason is survived by his wife, Allison; 2 sons, Matthew and Mark; father, Preston; 2 brothers, Preston, Jr.(Louri) and Josh; sister, Andrea(Gary); father-in- law, Alan; Aunt Gertie, nieces, nephews, cousins and dog, Bailey. He loved all including his extended family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 2pm on Sunday, April 24, 2016 at Port City Community Church, 250 Vision Drive, Wilmington, NC 28403. Visitation with the family will immediately follow after the service.
